The best team in Europe,frankly I would love to say Glasgow Celtic but that would be a dream rather than a reality at the moment. I think one could go back in history and rate teams on past performances Real Madrid, Ajax, Bayern Munich, to name a few. For me History is in the past A.C. Milan are the new Champions of Europe and deservedly so but there is not much between the top 8 clubs in Europe.Liverpool,Chelsea,Man.Utd I would place in that list also Barcelona,Real Madrid,and I suppose you could pick the last 2 from a group of German, Spanish
or Italian teams.European Soccer is the best in the World and no matter which team you follow Win or lose You want to see them in the Champions League

The day may come if some pundits have their way when we have a European League
consisting of probably the top dozen or so teams. Personally I think tha would be a disaster especially for the Leagues of each country involved and would probably do away with the champions League into the bargain. I look forward to next years competition, will hope my team makes it to the groups and beyond. And who knows
as a famous footballer once said "It's a funny old game ain't it"
