Words, spinning around inside your head. If you have ever experienced this confusion where your thoughts take on huge proportions and threaten to overtake you whilst leaving you swimming in confusion, then you need to talk to your friends.
Sometimes we are unable to see past our problems in-order to overcome them. Discussing these problems with friends can help us untangle these thoughts and begin to see clearly again.
Friends can help us because they know us so well. They can recognize when we are revisiting an old pattern again and need to change. They know us well enough to realize when we are about to take a leap in the wrong direction and make ourselves unhappy.
Keeping our ideas and problems to ourselves can make us feel stressed and over burdened with unshared information. These thoughts and worries can grow and fester if not released and who better to release them upon than people who we care about and trust who feel the same way about us.
Discussions with friends need not always be about that which is a problem to us. Discussions may also be about that which delights and excites us. It can be wonderful to share your innermost secrets and desires with those who you know will keep the information safe and who can also share their own thoughts on similar subjects with you.
When we talk with our friends we may find that they feel similarly to us about certain things. We can discover that we are not alone in our thoughts that have been troubling us or on that which we have been pondering, deep in contemplation.
We can also find out if what we have in mind is unwise or obscure, as our good friends will let us know and set us straight so that we don't make mistakes in an uninformed manner. They can also fill us in on small details that we may have inadvertently missed, and we can do the same for them.
Discussions which are intimate can help to keep us close to others and to keep our bonds strong. They can remind us about the importance of friendship and about why our friends ultimately mean so much to us.
In this way our friends can become our closest confidants with who we can share any information, on who we can rely and who may also depend on us.
Having others look up to us and respect us as much as we look up to and respect them can help to make our worlds a brighter place. It is only through discussions, and the actions that may follow, that we can begin to see our friends as our heroes and they to see us in the same light.
