Conspiracists are an odd bunch, they aren't usually scientists, nor are they really reporters, in fact usually they are just ordinary people with no real basis for the claims they make.

Take September 11, 2001. Four jets were hijacked three hit their intended targets, one crashed in a field. There were 19 hijackers, most of Arab descent trained by Al Qaeda.

The two planes that hit the two towers of the world trade center did enough damage that eventually those two towers collapsed as did some buildings around them that were damaged.

The plane that hit the pentagon did damage but the majority of the pentagon withstood the attack.

Over 3000 people died including men and women and children from the U.S. as well as many other countries.

We all knew that though right?

When the WTC collapsed it did look like a controlled collapse didn't it? I mean the buildings came straight down, and WTC 7 didn't even seem to be damaged, didn't it?

And what about that guy that said that whatever hit the pentagon was like a missile?

And where are all of the plane parts?

If you found yourself wondering about any of these questions, then I congratulate you for thinking a bit more than the average person, but I also caution you since you are venturing into conspiracy waters.

You can stay out of those waters by keeping a clear head, and looking at the actual evidence for yourself, don't let some conspiracist tell you what to see, look at the photos and videos yourself and see.

Did two planes run into the two towers? Well yeah we've all seen those videos, so that cannot be debated.

Did those planes cause the collapses though, now that is the question?

Conspiracists will tell you that the fire that burnt in the buildings could not have been hot enough to melt steel.

Ok hold on a moment. Who said anything about melting steel? The official report does not say that steel was melted. It said that the floor trusses expanded which in turn caused sagging in the middles as well as pushed out at the walls. There are pictures that show this, you can actually see the floor sagging near the hole in the tower.

This weakened the whole structure since the floors were holding the walls in place. And of course there was the minor matter of a hole the size of a jumbo jet in the wall, that sort of weakened the structure as well, believe it or don't.

There is a video that shows the collapse explicitly. You can see the wall bulging outwards and the upper floors moving down a bit before it cascaded and collapsed completely.
