Kids of all ages love sand art. Well here is a frugal sand art activity that is fun and easy for all to do. Here a list of all the material needed.

Jar with lid ( baby food,glass drink bottle etc.)
Ziplock bags
Salt
Food coloring
newspaper
Funnel

Make sand a Day ahead and keep on hand for the raining days or whenever.

1. Lay newspaper down on surface to help with clean up.

2. Get the ziplock bag pour salt in bag (amount depends on how much you want of that color.

3. Put food color drops ( the more you put the darker the color)

4. Seal bag and shake and rub bag so all of the sand is the desired color.

5. Open bag let dry 1hr or less

6. Make several other colors. repeat steps 2-5

7. Use funnel to put sand in jar, layering colors or one color only.

8. Put lid on tight.

Sand art may be used to glue on projects. This is just one use.
