Relationships defined

I was once married to a man who could talk to other women and men on the phone, but when we were alone he would watch television and expected to be waited on. I was married to him for twenty years and feel that I never built up a relationship with him because he wasn't really participating or talking to me much.

I'm now remarried to a man who talks and discusses things with me. I have several serious medical problems now, and he carries everything for me, cooks meals for me and even cleans up after meals. He's a wonderful husband. When we first met it was the other way around. I used to do all the cooking and cleaning, but my health took a turn for the worse.

My husband's health is not that good anymore either. He has had stents put in aneurisms in his arteries, but he is strong and recovers well. We both know that we love each other eternally and expect to be in Heaven together. I've never known anyone else to be as giving to me as my husband is. God bless him.
