If you haven't tried priceline yet, chances are you haven't received the best travel value for your dollar. If you're on a budget like me, I urge you to give it a try.

With priceline, you can save money on flights, hotels, car rentals and more. We have only used it for hotel stays, but we will likely try car rentals shortly. Basically, with priceline, you "bid" for a hotel room, car rental, etc.. If you bid wisely (see below for more info), you can find yourself saving a bundle of money.

My wife would travel every week if she had the means! Thanks to priceline, I am able to satisfy her travel desires on a more regular basis without breaking the bank. One of our favourite mini getaway locations is going to Niagara Falls. Thanks to priceline, we have stayed at 4* hotels for more than 50% off their regular price.

The key to using priceline correctly, is to do some researching prior to bidding. One site to consider exploring prior to bidding is www.betterbidding.com. It is a great site for asking questions and getting informed. Another site to examine is www.biddingfortravel.com. Both sites will help you make better informed bids with more chance of being accepted. Good luck!
