to find the positive in every patient, has a dark side that seems to be suppressed by his disgust of House's methods. He withdraws from situations that can lead to emotional attachments, but in doing so, he becomes wound so tightly that it is only a matter of time before he explodes.
Dr. Chase, played by Jesse Spencer, is sometimes a waste of screen time. He serves no other purpose but to remind us that there could be worse people in the world than House. He is boring, unlikeable, and pompous and most of the stories involve him whining about his unrequited love for Dr. Cameron. To be honest, do not watch the show for him.
Dr. Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) adds some much need estrogen to this masculine dominated show. She has a deep affection for Dr. House and those emotions allow for some forceful exchanges between Dr. Cameron and the rest of the cast. It is actually fun to watch her string Dr. Chase along all the while knowing that it is for Dr. House that her bell tolls.
Putting the repetitiveness of the overall story aside, "House" has captured my interest and continues to prove worthwhile. The main story is always connected to previous and future episodes, but you are not at a loss if you miss one. If you have had your fill of reality television, and other network shows are making you feel like you're comatose, be sure to catch "House," doctor's order!
