A debate for the ages of yet another stereotypical conundrum that captures a sense of spectacle to those on either side of the fence. Having tried both sides of this line of entangled mess of thoughts, I tend to focus more on the first impressions that many have come to anticipate merely from the color of one's hair. As judgmental as our society is, this ageless question still encompasses thoughts of pleasure seekers versus intellectuals. The very core of an individual is dismissed upon first glance by a mere hair color tinge that truly does not define the complete package.
BLONDES HAVE MORE FUN
As the saying goes, blondes are characterized by being forthcoming, energetic, dippy, flirtatious, and above all else gorgeous. Their intellectual iq on the other hand seems shadowed by an outgoing personality. These are just a few typical stereotypes associated with this degree. I, for one, while being a blonde, had felt more free and forthcoming due only to the societal temperament towards this fashionable change. And of course, the simple phrase of "I just had a blonde moment," is chuckled at the mere mention.
So, did I have more fun? Well, that is a bit of an understatement. Due to the fact that I was more outgoing and flirtatious, as feeling as part of the in crowd, I guess it came naturally that I did have a good time venturing at clubs. The lights did wonders for the bleached tones and practically made me a magnet in a crowd for those thrill seekers for stereotypical times. But again, once discussions became abound and the stereotypes dissipated most of these fly by nighters vanished seeking the true stereotypical catch.
BRUNETTES HAVE MORE FUN
Brunettes on the other hand, are viewed as book worms, mysterious, shy, nerdy and purely natural as many blondes receive their looks from a bottle. Their savvy appearance tends to overshadow their brain power and they feel lost in a typical crowd of average. Being a brunette for a time, I totally take offense to the stereotype. The brunettes I have encountered sometimes tend to be more outgoing as to catch the eyes and attention of the so-called in crowds shawl.
So to having more fun? Well, as a brunette, I tended to blend into the crowd, and kept merely quiet. Not due to society's view, but simply because of my own personality quirks. Men that approached with this style were usually more conservative, though as it goes still seeking the same aftermath as a blonde.
TO END THE FUED
As with any age old question, this will be a topic discussed forever, neither winning for both sides raise endless points of truancy. In times we live in now, a person can achieve either color within an hour and transform into whomever mold that wish at the point. Hair color does not impact one's true inner beauty, as that is forever a factor in each individual, but it can be fun to experiment with our own skin tones and features to create flattering results, as some look better blonde, while others gorgeous as brunettes.
As an end to my battle, I myself am naturally in the middle with dark blonde, to light brown hair, with etches of strawberry bolnde. So I've stuck to natural not bending towards either side and letting nature take it's course.
