I also have a problem. Right now I am stuck with Yahoo home page. Can you imagine? Some time back I allowed Yahoo to be my home page. I want to change it now. But I can't. It won't let me. It is stuck there like a solid rock.

Last month while I was working on mturk web site, I happened to download a ChaCha.home link. As I was completing a hit, I had to make it as my home page. I did not intend to keep it long. After 2 days, when I tried to change the home page, I could not. I did so many things, but to no affect.

Finally I did a cold reboot of my computer and I succeeded. I could remove ChaCha.com. This time also I did everything. In fact I did more this time. I not only did a cold reboot, but also changed the registry. Nothing is working. Yahoo is forcibly sitting on my computer as my home page and I cannot do anything.

I am looking into some other methods of removing Yahoo as my home page. I am not sure if I can succeed. It is sitting there without my choice and is stubborn.

I have heard that happens because of Trojan horses. Whenever, we download anything, there is a danger of these viruses.

My advice is not to trust anything on the net, not even Yahoo or Google. You never know. Try to avoid clicking any link. Type all web addresses manually into the address bar.
