Poetry: Dreams

In shades of blue he calls me
With lavender sweeping clouds
With smiles of green I'm going back
To see him in my dreams

I'll follow the words of that strange voice
I'll run through blurring worlds
I'll answer in words I don't understand
I'll pretend I have a choice

Antisipation, I cross my fingers
that in my mind he waits
As I fall asleep he'll catch me
As I wake up he lingers
