I think that football players have every right to be paid the salaries which they are given. It is wrong to begrudge anyone the opportunity to make as much or as little money as they are capable of. So long as they are doing it in a legal manner, who are we to judge. You have to keep in mind the average career of a professional athlete is only a few years. In these few years they subject the bodies to extreme abuse. Every time they step foot on the field they are placing themselves at great risk of being injured which can affect not only their career but their lives in general. While the salaries of athletes is often exorbitant, it is no different from the big wig executive sitting in an office making millions. Who are we to say that someone should not take advantage of the opportunity to earn this money just because it is not a common occupation? This is America, I say go out and get it. Follow your dreams and instead of sitting around complaining that football players make to much go and find you niche. Make your millions and when you are fat, rich, and happy you can waste time on such menial debates.
