Trust, unwavering,
In a power on high.
With the Word,
Replace the lie.
Belief in a God,
One cannot see.
Yet feeling His love,
While on bended knee.
Told to ask and to trust,
In miracles beyond,
All understanding,
And a teacher's tongue.
Knowing without formal education,
Of the human kind.
That wars and death
Were never divine.
Sin and iniquity,
Death and disease,
Gone in a moment,
By His breath, a soft breeze.
Standing on promises,
Written in a book,
By twelve simple men,
Carried by mouth and foot.
Two thousand years,
His promises unchanged.
A loving God who desires the same,
And requires only Faith.
