PERMANENT WOUND
A cut, it never heals
It bleeds
But you can never see the blood
A never-ending pain
That you wish would go away
It's always there
And will be forever
Always somewhere in your mind
People say in time it will go away
But there is no escape
It's been time and it's still there
And every day something reminds you
There's no comfort
No one understands
Locked in a dark room with no air
No comfort
How can you ever move on
Cry at night, that's all you can do
But it doesn't help the misery and pain
It's always there
And will be forever
