Poetry: Exile

by Michelle Gilmour

Created on: May 20, 2007

I've given up hope
Of finding the perfect world
That's just not there
It doesn't exist
I just have to deal
I have to face the fact that I can't turn back
There's nothing there
And I can't move forward
There's no where to go
Guess I'll be trapped here forever
Until I am slowly washed away
