2008's presidential race is heating up and the contestants are boasting their stuff and trying their best to win over people's hearts and votes. How much do you really know about the candidates though? How about Hilary Clinton? Will she best represent our country, or will one of the many other candidates win over the American people?
Hilary Clinton, wife of Bill Clinton, was brought into this world on October 26, 1947 in Illinois. Here she developed into quite the admirable daughter winning awards in high school and on her sports teams. As she evolved into a young lady, her political genius kicked into over-drive and thus volunteered for Barry Goldwater, a republican candidate in the election of 1964 for the presidency spot.

She went on to college at Wellesley and served as a leader of the Wellesley College Chapter of the College Republicans. After her junior year Hilary made plans to become part of the democratic committee. Hilary entered law school where she participated in many activities including working at the legal services of the city to ensure advice for the poor. During the year of 1970, Ms. Clinton was awarded with working at the Children's Defense Fund located in Massachusetts. Soon after she ventured to Washington D.C. She associated with Senator Walter Mondale's committee on migrant workers, where she was researching migrant conflicts in sanitation, health and education, as well as housing.

After her graduate studies, Hilary officiated as attorney of the staff for the Children's Defense Fund, and in addition, as a consultant to the Carnegie Council on Children. Plus she was previously a portion of the impeachment staff enlightening the House Committee on the Judiciary during the period of the Watergate slander. Later in life, Hilary Clinton became one of only two present female members of the faculty at the University of Arkansas, located near the Fayetteville School of Law.

After her union with Bill Clinton, Hilary became the First Lady of Arkansas, in which she held that name for over twelve years. Among those twelve years, she had serviced her time for the Arkansas Educational Standards Committee, and the Rural Health Advisory Committee. For these wonderful achievements she was titled the state of Arkansas's Woman of the Year Award in the year of 1983.

After receiving her fifteen minutes of fame, Hilary Clinton headed the National Health Care Reform bill that was a theoretical offer to behest employers to give health coverage plans to their employees
