I started as theist because I was born to theist parents and I don't think that a child without conscience has a choice. As I was among top students and vocal members of my class, so I was always like taking initiatives and being in a leading role. Sciences drew my attention to reasoning, something I dearly loved and still love a lot. I was a science enthusiast because of it's ability to explain things systematically, logically and in a structured way. Religious people were like, everything is done by GOD with a full stop at the end, to which my mind couldn't submit. when I studied Darwinian evolution, physical laws, scientific methods etc, I was more and more convinced that science is the best bet and our world follow certain laws and needs not a spiritual power to exist or run. So I became a sort of an agnostic theist or simply agnostic. I remained so almost throughout my teenage.
When my thought processes started getting more mature, I started looking for scientific answers to all my questions, which are always in the mind of every thinking human being. Origins proved to be my starting point of reconversion. Theory of evolution doesn't preclude origin but starts from a point where life already started, so when I looked for answer to that, I came to know that only answer could be either a chance or abiogenesis. I thought that abiogenesis or chance, both are the things, no scientist would believe normally, so why to make a theory credible, by making this assumption. Why go against a universally accepted theory to give credence to a controversial theory. At this point in time, I first started loosing trust in sciences as a system in totality. Similarly, if we believe in the system of cause and effect, which is quite verifiable, empirically, then what is the cause of this universe, our life, every physical system in place? from where they are coming and where they are heading to. This just let me realize the limits of sciences, as many of the above are not demonstratively verifiable.
When I came to engineering, as I started observing outer world more and more deeply, I could no more believe that anything can come into being by chance without an engineer or any other creator for that matter. To believe that a law can be made without law making body, or a car or space shuttle be designed without a designer, or chair be made without carpenter is simply impossible. Now if nothing can come into being without designer than how come an intelligent being like humans,
