The healthiest fruit is the avocado. Although it's generally eaten in savory dishes, it's classified as a fruit. It's one of the "super foods" containing lots of minerals and vitamins, including vitamin E, potassium, and vitamin B6. Avocados also contain monounsaturated fatty acids which can help lower cholesterol. However, because of the comparatively high content of fat, they should be eaten in moderation - don't munch on these in the same way you might apples, or pears!
Avocados are also extremely versatile: you can put them sliced into sandwiches, top your favorite chili with avocado wedges, or mash an avocado up with sour cream, garlic and a little salt and you've got guacamole. They also add great color to any dish, and can turn a simple salad into something a little bit special.
