Best highway car

There are many amazing vehicles in the market-place today, but there is one that seems to outshine all the others.

The Lexus is just such an automobile and is a vehicle built for those who want the very best in elegance and superior performance on every possible level.

POWER AND PERFORMANCE:

This car is truly remarkable when it comes to highway driving. The V-8 engine is capable of reaching high speeds quickly. Also, the driver can modify the power train from normal to maximum(snow setting)for peak performance in any conditions. In any setting, the all wheel-drive system handles the power effortlessly. This car would be great when it comes to passing other vehicles on the highway. With that kind of power, it would tend to make one feel much safer and confident that the pass can be safely made.

SAFETY FEATURES:

This car can do so much that it could well be the safest highway car every built. Quite an accomplishment considering the power it is capable of producing. The Lexus has a pre-collision system that uses millimeter-wave radar and stereo cameras to 'see' people, animals and other obstacles in front of the car. It will automatically prepare to stop in anticipation of you stepping on the brakes. That means there is no hesitation. Step on the brakes with the car in this mode and you will stop NOW! There will be no hesitation.

This would be especially important to me, because I often drive through the Rocky Mountains and bears, elk and deer can appear out of nowhere and many serious accidents involving animals happen in my area every year. This car would sense them being there instantly and prepare for sudden braking before you even know the obstacle is there.

I read once that research showed that 93% of people ease off on the brakes in an impending crash. Go figure. After thinking about it I came up with my own theory. Maybe the reaction is to protect our upper body and head in the event of an imminent impact and we tend to lean forward in the process. Maybe that reaction naturally lifts our foot off the brake without us realizing it. With this car, that will never happen. Once you hit the brakes, the car is going to stop with authority because it has prepared ahead of time for that stop.

That is just part of what this car is capable of. If you are distracted and your eyes are not facing forward as an obstacle appears in front of you, the car will give you a wake-up call. It will tap the brake and tug on your shoulder harness to get your attention. Wow!

It you do happen
