I can only speak honestly about the diversity I had in my workplace. As a respiratory technician with nurses traing, I saw each patient we had every month, assessed them and furnished them with disposables.
I filled each five liter tank by FDA regulations. I answered each question posed to me whether I knew it then or had to look it up.
I was well versed at the time at what Medicare and Medicaid would and would not cover. I audited our bills at the home office at the request of my boss and found a $30,000 discrepancy.
I delivered and set up hospital beds, power chairs, oxygen set-ups, etc.
I was on the road most of the day so I would troubleshoot a problem a patient was having.
I entered any pertinent notes in the computer and helped with billing questions. I repaired equipment in my spare time.
This doesn't cover all, but most of my diversification.
