Good teenage summer jobs

Summer Jobs. Well we all need them right? Right so why not think outside the box and get paid. Forget working at your local grocery store getting paid 6 bucks an hour. Or cleaning around your house for your parents and getting paid a 10 dollar weekly allowance. Work for yourself. You're a kid and when school is out, you have the summer to yourself, so take time and start a business that you can make some good cash off of and enjoy being your own boss!

1. Lawn care Service.
This is almost obvious but it is still clutch. I have a friend that has been cutting lawns with his brothers for a few summers now, and they currently have almost their whole town under contract. Summer mornings and early afternoons consist of them moving from house to house cutting lawns and they are making a pretty penny off of it. Send out fliers to everyone in your neighborhood, offer lower prices than competitors, and do a good job. Your neighbors would love to have sweet little Jimmy cutting there lawn and they would feel good about paying you for it too.

2. Car Detailing service.
Again another cliche job, but it can work. You have to start by advertising. Get your name out there, let people know you exist. Offer low prices and better yet, bring the service to your customers door. Offer to detail their cars right in at their home, that way they do not need to worry about the hassle of driving their car to some garage and getting picked up. One key thing with this job, make sure you know what you are doing, and if you do a great job, word will get out about you, and your customers will multiply.

3. Babysit.
Everyone needs a babysitter, so offer your services. If you have a good reputation in your neighborhood and alot of people know you, get paid for it. Send out fliers, make phone calls to parents you know with younger kids, even start off with your own relatives and branch out from there. This service could easily make you alot of cash if you are willing to put in the work.

4. Run a summer sports training program.
If you are good at any sport, and quite knowledgeable about it, create a business around it. Younger kids are always attending camps. So offer one-on-one training or even small group. Capitalize on the fact that you will be getting the players the attention they need to grow athletically.
