Newborns and heaven: A discussion of baptism as a requirement

Absolutely not! Baptism is not a requirement for "heaven". I know this with every fiber of my being.

Newborns are the epitome of God's/Universe/Great Spirit's love; they are pure/unconditional love or agape.

Newborns are a piece of heaven for us to experience.

Newborns are the very essence of innocence and light.

They are precious gifts to us. Gifts that give infinitely until we teach them otherwise.

Newborns are the reminder of who we can be, perfected. They know no fear, hatred, sorrow-only gentleness, tenderness and love; it is us adults who corrupt and mislead them.

Newborns soften the hardest heart, teach us to be playful, adventurous and to deeply question who we are and our purpose here.

Newborns trigger this genuine, questing urge inside of us to better our societies, relationships, institutions and environments so they can have healthier more peaceful and fulfilling lives.

Newborns are brilliant, luminous souls/spirits that encourage us to grow, learn, explore and create.

Newborns challenge us to reclaim a sense of innocence, a sense of tranquility, and a sense of awe at the wondrous world around us.

Newborns are bundles of divine energy straight from the SOURCE so how can they not be accepted into "heaven"?

It is our sacred duty to nurture and guide these little spirits to be the most loving, patient, respected, compassionate, gentle beings.

They do all this for us and we want to exclude them from "heaven" if they are not baptized? No, newborns, merely by being alive accomplish more in mere moments than some of us adults do in years.
