Helium's User Agreement: Why every Helium member should become informed

Did you read between the lines? The main lines and the side lines? Did you see the fine lines, the bi-lines and the sign lines? You didn't? Why not, you say you didn't want to waste time?

Well my friend, as you can see, I'll show you what happens, when you click "Agree".
From the beginning, the middle, and straight to the end, this is Helium's sight, and you're a guest here my friend.

Any rules that they make, they ask you "please know", for they let you do quite a bit, just remember it's their show.

They want you to prosper, to learn, to earn, and post articles for others to see. They just won't put up with money scams, spamming, bad mouthing, or flat out vulgarity.

You're welcome to stay, but if you leave, just so you know, if you're gone for six months, your income won't grow. Oh, and if you come back, it will start up again, so long as it hasn't been too long, that would be at a year and a half's end.

Any bad doings, will be dealt with accordingly, that includes breaking the law, and posting plagiary. If you decide to sue, or take action of any class, all proceedings will take place, in the courts of Boston, Mass.

You cannot hamper, defame, are use their logo, or do anything rotten that will detract from their show.

There are other things to mention, that members were required to see, but that's should be old news, if you've clicked on "agree".

I know, it's an annoying poem, but it got your attention. It is so easy to click on "agree" and just pass over pertinent information. Most people get annoyed and frustrated with the legal mumble jumble and double talk that's found in many of these agreements.

I've read Helium's agreement, twice now. It's not really that difficult to get through and the expectations they post are reasonable. I know it may seem like a hassle to read it, but in doing so you may alleviate issues for yourself later.
I'm not going to continue to lecture about reading agreements. I'll just say that Helium's agreement seems fair enough. Regardless of what you think of the policies here, remember, you Agree to be bound by them once you sign up.
