The facts about domestic violence affects not only women but the children living in the home. Arguing can stress the children out and make many problems for them in school and affect them emotionally. The fact that violence is all around us is everywhere not just domestic.

Women live with men everyday that yell and scream about everything. My husband screams at my kids everyday, it's not healthy and there isn't anything I can do about it. That is how he communicates and I really don't think he knows how to without yelling or loosing his temper. The kids just do not listen and he feels that by yelling they will listen by the fear. He says they don't respect so they choose fear. I disagree, but it is true he can get them to do just about anything because of his authoritative voice and the tone helps. I think he tends to be threatening and they don't want to mess with their father. Me I am a push over and the kids know they can push me around and my voice doesn't hold much ground.

The facts about domestic violence are everywhere. It's on television and video games, in movies and and in our own homes. We can not escape it and it affects so many families all over the world. How do we stop something that is an epidemic in our country. They even have a show on television that people watch, you know it as, "Cops," its one that glorifies domestic violence and they make it entertainment and people love to watch other people in domestic dispute.

People can not seem to get along in our country. We fight and argue over the stupid things that ruins our lives. We are all so opinionated and some people think they are better than others, we need to focus on our families more and try for the children sake to get along and be a good influence on our young people.
