What is liberal feminism

Liberal feminism is defined as a series of movements that promote equality of both genders through social, political, and legal reform. It's not as extreme as radical feminism. This type of feminism tends to be more individual instead of the collective. This is the embodiment of the woman's independence and individualism. It's basically working towards a meritocracy and that a woman will be treated equally by her merits and not because she's a woman.

It's all about hard work, equality, and a level playing field. There's definitely nothing different about liberal feminists. They're activists and they want change like most of us do. Their philosophies are basically the same as most liberals such as abortion rights, voting rights, better education. Liberal feminism does also focus on sexual harassment as well which is pretty important in their philosophy and movement.

They don't see the need to cause chaos and anarchy. They don't see the need to bring down modern society and modern day culture to achieve. Liberal feminists are far more open-minded than their radical counterparts. In short, the liberal feminists are basically the moderate feminists that they don't veer into the extreme. As Buddha said to walk the middle path, the liberal feminists tend to be walking the middle path of the Feminist movement.

There's no need to veer specifically towards one direction nor towards another. Liberal feminism is the more balanced and moderate representation of the movement. It's more of a peaceful direction of Feminism.
