CRIMSON DREAMS
The darkness was vast when awoke in the dream
Beneath the blanket with a female with me
An exchange of blood joy and childish play
With but one thought that I wish I could stay
The darkness was thick but unusually bright
Despite the black it did not stint my sight
The mirror reflected one who was not I
Features exaggerated with large twinkling eyes
I stood and I stared shocked and gripped in fear
At this creature I saw that was I in the mirror
I was lost in the sight for a time that's unknown
And I noticed my teeth my fangs they had grown
I could not grasp this fear that was entwined with joy
Perceptions had now changed I had a new toy
But how it did work was lost still to me
Then others they came and left there with me
And what transpired next is absent of words
Yet as distinct as the song that is sung by the birds.

Things that have not
Last night I had a dream
and you were there with me
so I held back my scream
you said, come on, this is our destiny
and I followed
