Why does life hurt so much?,
The pain,
The tears,
My life's full of fear.

Feelings, emotions, way out of control,
tearing away eating at my soul.
I don't know what to do,
Don't know which way to turn,
all i want is happiness,
But i get hurt each way that i turn.

Why does life hurt so much?,
Why me? i say,
Is this my existence?,
Is this the way it should be?,
Please God help me,
Set me free,
Ease the pain en-bedded in me.

I am a good person,
I have so much to give,
So why does life hurt so much?,
Is this all that life has to give?.

Don't leave me behind in a world full of pain,
Set my soul free,
Let me smile through the rain.
If my destiny is in your hands,
Then show me the way,
Guide me in the right direction,
Help me to be me,
The person thats buried,
deep inside of me.

Why does life hurt so much?
Please help me i pray,
I will be pain free,
Somehow, someway,
But until that day comes,
I.m begging you,
Please help me through today.
