Yes...

...What? The question was simply, "Do you believe in witchcraft?" and the answer is yes. Were you expecting some long and drawn out explanation as to why exactly I feel it is feasible to believe in a legitimate form of witchcraft? Well, I suppose I can swallow my pride and address the topic properly.

When addressing subjects like this I often find that it helps to put it into a logical perspective. By "logical" I do not mean the incorrect usage in which arguments are considered illogical simply because they are uncommon or bizarre. Logic is... ...well, that's another article entirely.

From a logical perspective, we may say that either witchcraft does exist or witchcraft doesn't exist. Furthermore, to say that genuine witchcraft is not real requires that the person making the claim has objective and unequivocable knowledge that it does, in fact, not exist. Since we may be confident that no person can make this claim (but it would be interesting to see) we may say that it is feasible for there to be some legitimate form of witchcraft. We may not know for sure but it is possible.

That is the basis of my reasoning and from there you may make your own investigations or decisions. If you do not believe witchcraft is real then that's perfectly fine. If you do, then the next crucial step is to decide whether it is a benign amusement, or a dangerous vice.
