There is no other human experience to rival the intensity and passion of being in love. People can fall in love many times during their lifetime but seldom stop to consider that this experience may be linked to their souls and not just a chemical explosion or a burning desire to reproduce.

Many people are now seeking a spiritual partnership and the concepts of soul mates and twin souls is becoming more popular. This article seeks to explore what this type of connection could be.

In the beginning there was God and in order to experience himself he sent out billions of souls into the universe. A monad is an extension of the God source and creates twelve soul extensions which in turn create another twelve soul extensions. Each one of us are spiritually linked to another one hundred and forty four souls somewhere in the universe. This is our soul group or soul family.

As souls we yearn for the reunion and the experience of oneness we had with source and to recreate the feeling of oneness and unity with the All That Is. This yearning is the force behind the emotional experience of falling in love. The feeling of completeness we experience in body, mind and spirit when we unite with another.

Our souls exist in a non physical realm and send out fragments or extensions of itself into physical reality in order to experience the joys and challenges of the physical plane and the duality of existence which gives meaning to life. Without this duality there would be no experience. In order to experience happiness we have to know sadness, Light has to know dark and good to encounter evil. Without these opposites how can we appreciate love ,joy and compassion.

Twin souls, Flames or Rays

Our souls contain an equal balance of masculine and feminine energies, each vibrating at different speeds of light, yet co existing in complete harmony. These two contrasting yet harmonious fragments of soul energy are called twin souls , twin flames or twin rays.

These aspects of the same soul can separate from each other in order to experience life as physical man and physical woman and at a certain level of spiritual growth we seek to become reunited with our twin. This yearning sends a clear message to our soul which if both are incarnated at the same time guides the twin flames towards each other.

Reunion with our twin is important to enable us to balance our masculine and feminine energies which expands our consciousness and leads to the rapid spiritual growth of both partners. However,not
