Just a few days before, Inzamam ul Haq, a legend cricketer and captain of Pakistan cricket team announced his retirement from limited-over-cricket subsequent to a series of jolts and tragedies. Pakistanis could not find a briefest respite during all the while. It's miseries continued one after another, humiliating exit from the World Cup followed by the death of coach Bob Woolmer and now the retirement of Inzamam from ODI.
Inzamam-ul-Haq born on March 3, 1970 in the city of Multan, Punjab Province, was made captain of the Pakistani cricket team in 2003. He is a specialist right-hand batsman and is considered as one of the greatest batsmen of the modern era and compared with stars of present times i.e. Lara, Tendulkar, and Ponting.
His discovery credit probably goes to former Pakistan captain Imran Khan. Inzamam's magic show in 1992 ICC Cricket World Cup in Australia earned him enviable eminence in the cricket arena. Even in his salad days (at 22), his potential and solar powered show (Multan is known for its extreme hot weather conditions) against the Kiwis lifted him to unmatched height.

Salim Malik scored 72 (not out) out of the remaining 77 runs from just 36 deliveries to maneuver Pakistan to a celebrated 2 wicket win with 3 balls still to spare in the match.
In the cricketing career of this great man, the year of 2006 was also very important one. The fourth and final game of the last test series between Pakistan and England would be remembered for centuries to come. That test series have imprinted nonpareil impressions not only on the hearts of the people who admire or love cricket but also on the hearts of the populace who have no relation with cricket but believe in humanity above any sort of racisms.
That was a unique test series, considering from the perspectives, which would never let people to shrug it off from their memories. This series was only one of its kinds, as there
