If you love money and your happy with that then, yes. You do get those who try to sound non-materialistic, left wing, hippyish and alike who will insist on telling you (from there laptop, sitting in a costa coffee and wearing there new Levis) that the best things in life are free and that you don't need money. Well tell that to the staving thousands of Africa or the war torn orphans of Iraq and see where it gets you. A bit extreme examples maybe but think about it and the world we live in, essentially the rich, confident and successful people do as they please and with whoever they please and the poor, well they make do with what they've got. It's ugly but the truth. You can kid yourself in a variety of ways, through NLP, Hypnotherapy, finding God or otherwise but the fact of the matter is you can only afford to do things things because you have the money to pay for it.
Religions and psychological movements act as a worthy distraction away from recognizing the materialistic mess we're in but these come at a price themselves and you're average Cambodian beggar won't know what NLP stands for (neuro, linguistic programming), let alone be able to afford the $1500 price tag otherwise they'd buy there own country. So, can money buy happiness and love? Well, anyone can fall in love and be happy with or without money. But let's face it if you've got money you can spend a lot more time on shopping around for these things rather than scrounging round to put food in your mouth.
