Early morning tips for stress-reduction

helps all members of the household to be of assistance to each other. If someone becomes so distracted in the morning that they still don't see the big pile of papers in the kitchen, someone else will surely notice the spot and remind them. By choosing a very specific spot, everyone gets used to checking that area and being aware if someone hasn't 'claimed' something from the spot.

This is also a great aid in the very unlikely scenario that someone still leaves the house without something that they need for the day. At least on the necessary trip back home there is no more searching upon arrival. Just unlock the door, go to the specified spot, and grab whatever was left behind.

Teach yourself, your children, and other household members to mentally run through their activities for the next day. Re-enact every class, every appointment, phone call, et cetera, that must be accomplished. Think if there is anything extra that is needed to be taken the next day. There are occasionally situations in which you absolutely, positively cannot forget an item the next morning. Maybe you need to take a contract to work for your very first appointment. Or you have an appointment an hour away in which you need to bring important documents. Whatever the reason, there is a way to ensure that you will always remember to take it with you. How? Everyone has something that they must take with them each day- the previously mentioned car keys, purse, wallet, eyeglasses, are some examples. Simply take your "I can't forget this" item and pair it with an essential item that you need for the next day. For example, if you always keep your eyeglasses by the nightstand, place them on top of the important papers or book or whatever. Then when
