Scrying can be achieved through several different ways. There is the mythological crystal ball. When viewing into the ball itself you need to relax your eyes almost to the point that they are almost closed. Then try to focus on any object that you may see inside the ball. Start to open your eyes as you try to focus in on the object.

Black mirrors can be made at home with a thin film of black spray paint. Black mirrors are much more difficult to scry into because it does reflect your image onto them in a faint way. Lighting a candle next to the mirror also helps the images to come forth.

Another way is to use raw tea leaves and a scoop of sugar in a cup. The tea leaves should settle on the bottom of the cup after you drink the tea. Swirl the tea leaves around the bottom until you can see something appear in the leaves. Your first instinct in what these objects mean are how you interpret these objects that you see.
