Yeah, reinstitute the draft, then step back and watch how many of the youth in this country go underground. You want a war? You'll get one right in our own backyard.

I don't know how long it will take or when it will happen, but the day we rewrite our national anthem and lose the "bombs bursting in air mentality", the sooner this country and the world will approach the possibility of peace on earth. We need to lay down our guns and do away with the military, period. Think about it. If we didn't have a military what would happen of consequence. We, the almighty United States of America, can't even subdue the teeny weenie little country of Iraq. And do you know why? I'll tell you why, because if the roles were reversed we would be resisting exactly the same way. We would be shooting at them from the trees and from behind the Wal-Mart sign posts. We wouldn't need an army we'd handle it ourselves.

A reinstituted draft would immediately light a resistance candle on each and every campus in America and that would be a good thing. The debate on war mongering, expansionism, unabated capitalism, industrial profiteering and the real reason for the war in Iraq oil, would all rise to the forefront of our national conscience, like the crme in a bottle of 1965 front porch milk.

So go ahead, reinstitute the draft in America I dare you
