Laughter is a wonderful thing! If you can see the humor in things, then you are well on the way to recovery!
Laughter helps us detach ourselves; Everyday, we are put our nose to the grind stone! Our busy lives are drawing us closer and closer, into a nervous break down!
For a humorous example; The fly in your house on Monday morning?..Can make you feel like something very bad is beginning to happen! On Tuesday, two flies, will make you feel like you are slowly becoming infested! On Wednesday, the two flies become an infestation! Time to call the Pest Control company! You call them! They send over a Comedian that tells you a very funny joke! All of a sudden, you are able to put everything into perspective! The two flies?..You swat with a news paper!
Actually, the Pest Control company will not do that for you, but if we could just learn a little more humor, then the little things will not seem so big!
Humor is a great way of separating ourselves from our busy, 'No humor" lives! Humor, takes us to a place where we can feel better! It picks us up, takes us away and puts us right back into a warm and fuzzy location!
Remember when we were children?..When we thought that we were in serious trouble?! Our parents would make us feel bad at first, but once we showed them that we were sorry and we wouldn't do it again, then, they would smile and tell us that it was going to be okay! Humor is virtually the same thing! The difference is, that we as adults, become buried within ourselves and our lives; We don't have a parent on hand to tell us that everything is going to be alright! So, as a mature adult, we need humor, as a parent, to help us separate the small things from the big things! We tend to loose sight and focus, sometimes!
Humor sells! It breaks the ice! It takes away the awkwardness! Humor is an unbelievable healing medication, that can rub off on so many people! Please, exercise humor, when ever and wherever you necessary!
