Psychometry is an intuitive technique that involves holding or touching objects or photographs to gather information. It's the same skill that many psychic detectives use.
The idea behind psychometry is that objects, over time, will absorb whatever vibrations are around them or embedded through use.
Examples of common objects to read include watches, rings, clothing or shoes, favorite keepsakes, antiquesanything that has been worn or used by the person you want information about.
When you "read" the object or photo using psychometry, you can key into the past, present or future. You can sense emotions that have become attached or embedded in it.
Your intuitions (as with all psychic information) may come through to you as sight, sound, smell or hearing; or as any combination of sensory input.
You have to practice, but you'll be amazed at how much information you "get" in a fairly short time.
How To's
Initially, it's best to practice this intuitive art with the help of a friend so that you can begin to verify what you receive.
Ask your friend to bring a few ordinary items to the session.
Examples would be: a letter he or she received
a pen
a small keepsake
a figurine
a photo of someone you don't know
a book
Use your imagination! The main thing at this point, is that the object should be something that you don't know about. For example, suppose your friend has just bought a small wooden box and you haven't seen it. As you held the object, you'd try to see what else is in the room around it. Is it kept in the bedroom? The living room? Family room? Where was it purchased? What is it used for? Does it hold a ring? Is it a gift for someone else? You get the idea.
Light a candle, play some moody music to start or just sit quietly. Whatever helps you to focus and concentrate in a quiet way and allows you to open to the information that is available.
Take a few deep breaths. Relax your mind and emotions.
Now hold the object in your hands and focus on what comes through: sights, sounds, emotions, feelings, smells, words, taste, touch, and musicwhatever comes to mind.
Say these impressions out loud.
Ask your friend not to react, but just to jot down whatever you say. If that isn't practical, because he or she tends to gasp or indicate whether you're right or wrong, ask him or her to leave the room while you "read" the object or photo.
You can either speak out loud and record your impressions, or write them down. You can quickly make small jottings or draw pictures. Whatever feels
