After watching the movie, Spider-Man 3, I strongly believe that it has lived up to the hype. In the movie, Spider-Man fights three villains in the movie. Those three villains are Sandman, Venom, and the New Goblin. Spider-Man has another love interest named Gwen Stacy. He dates Gwen as Peter Parker when he and M.J. break up. Spider-Man 3 was somewhat similar to the Spider-Man comic books because in the movie, Peter does go on a date with Gwen. But, in the comic books, he dates her more than once and she's his girlfriend. Also in the movie, Spider-Man starts to wear an alien symbiote costume while he's still on earth. But, in the comic books, he starts to wear the symbiote costume while he's in outer space during the Secret Wars. In the movie, Spider-Man is able to remove the symbiote costume from his body with the help of a high sound coming from a huge bell. But, in the comic books, he removes it with the help of Mr. Fantastic using a sonic gun. In the movie, Peter's best friend, Harry Osborn, wears a different costume to become the new Green Goblin and attacks Peter when he finds out that Peter is really Spider-Man. But, in the comic books, Harry wears a Green Goblin costume that looks exactly like his father's costume. I really liked the fight scenes in the movie. But, there were some things that I didn't like about the movie. The first thing that I didn't like was that Peter never apologized to Mary Jane for hitting her and he didn't apologize to his landlord for yelling at him. The second thing that I didn't like about the movie was that Harry Osborn didn't get another girlfriend like he did in the comic books and that he died too soon. The third thing that I didn't like about the movie was that Spider-Man didn't catch Sandman at the end of the movie and that the Sandman didn't die. Sandman was the only villain in the Spider-Man trilogy that didn't die. Spider-Man 3 did live up to the hype when previews of it were shown on TV.
