War in Iraq

How to end the war in Iraq

The war in Iraq is not something that you can just end it is a very complex situation that needs a lot of knowledgeable people to be part of, there are complexities to this war that are of the utmost importance. There are factions who are fighting for control of Iraq and this problem alone isn't very simple to resolve, there needs to be moderate leaders come to for front and help bring some stability to the region. The major problem there is protection of these people no one wants to step forward when their very life is being threatened, you need to create a secure environment in order for people to step forward to help bring some sort of stop to the bloodshed. Moderate religious leaders need to be found and brought in to stop the swell of violence in Iraq, this alone is a task of great importance but something not easily done. The police force of Iraq needs to be bolstered with many more police officers, they need to be given something that will make them want to join such a risky job. There are a lot of problems with ending this war and these are but a few, saying this I believe finding leaders who are of the moderate religious level will help bring some sort of stability to this war torn country.

We should be focusing military efforts on the Taliban, Al Qaeda and drugs in Afghanistan, not in Iraq
