3. Egg roll: Conduct a contest with the six boiled eggs. Tape strips on the floor to make a path or "raceway". Make a guess of how far a boiled egg will roll when pushed. Have a race! Roll an egg down a slanted book or board. How far does it roll once it reaches the flat surface? Can it be rolled end over end? Or, does it only roll on its side? Roll a raw egg. Does it roll further? End over end?
4. Bring in a grocer's small, medium, large and extra large egg. Compare the weight, circumference, length and color of the eggs. Prepare a chart of comparison.
