Things that keep CEOs awake at night

I'm putting on my CEO hat and I'm pretty sure as CEO I would be lying awake thinking of:

1. The people I'm going to have to fire tomorrow.
2. Watching my back once those people have been fired.
3. The client who was told today that there is an error of approximately $10million in their prior year financial statements.
4. Increasing my insurance coverage, just in case the client is also awake tonight, thinking of ways to get even.
5. The sweet young thing barely out of college who looks at me so adoringly.
6. A present for the wife, in anticipation of the tantrum that she will throw when she finds out about the sweet young thing.
7. Board reports and how to fudge them, to get through the board meeting on Tuesday.
8. Taking the sweet young thing to Paris.
9. Getting the secretary to arrange the trip to Paris.
10. The people I'm going to have to fire tomorrow.

OK, so maybe I put on the hat of a sleazy, bastard CEO but it was fun while it lasted!
