How global warming will directly impact our children's health and future

Global warming is the mantra for many of today's politicians. Unfortunately, global warming is a myth, or at the very least, not proved yet. Climates and temperatures are cyclical and they will change over time. Many people down through history have had to change their life because of changing climate - and that BEFORE cars were invented.
Before people jump on the global warming bandwagon, I would like to hope they would investigate both sides, and not just believe because they are told it is true. I can't say it will not be proved, but as many scientists disbelieve it as believe it, so which do we believe?
In the end, I am more concerned about the rise of random violence in this country than the rise of the temperature. We may not be here to be impacted at all if we don't deal with other, more eminent problems that are impacting us even now.
