Our favourite horror movie villains in battle: Who would win

Have you ever watched one of your staple horror flicks (eg. Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween) and asked yourself, " I wonder who would win in an ultimate showdown"?

Well, if we realistically assess how these villains size up in comparison to one another, it'll become clear that there is only one real winner. Let's take a look.

The Players:

1)Frederick Charles Krueger (aka Freddy):
Sex: Male
Race: Caucasian
Weapon: leather-clawed glove

2)Jason Voorhees
Sex: Male
Race: Caucasian
Weapon: Machete

3)Michael Myers
Sex: Male
Race: Caucasian
Weapon: Kitchen Knife

The Analysis:

If anything, Freddy would be the most versatile opponent. With the ability to manipulate and haunt one's dreams, he is a force not to be reckoned with. Once asleep, Freddy is able to carry out malicious attacks on his victims, all the while manipulating both objects and surroundings within the dream world, as well as morphing his own form. Any physical harm carried out on a victim while asleep endures in the wake state. Not to mention that if a victim happens to awaken during an attack, Freddy is transported into the real world where he can continue with his savagery.

Additionally, Freddy is able to absorb the soul of his victim which only serves to make him stronger. Last but not least, Freddy shines in the intelligence department as compared to his 'slow' counterparts. Being an undead child serial killer, Freddy retains the mentality of a somewhat capable adult, whilst Michael and Jason are lacking developmentally in this regard.

However, Freddy does falter in one aspect. When entering the real world, he must rely on brute force and subsequently can be wounded. As we all know, his physique pails in comparison to to that of both Jason and Michael, making him a physically weak target.

Conversely, Jason has the largest body count, killing 146 people over the course of 11 films. Although this may be the case, one has to keep in mind that as a pre-pubescent child, which was the time of Jason's unfortunate drowning, he was not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Being as this is, one can only assume with great assurance that Jason maintains the mentality of a 5-year-old, which acts as a hindrance in terms of strategic planning. This aforementioned point is illustrated in the many fights between Freddy and Jason in the film 'Freddy Vs. Jason'(2003).

Jason does lack in one other area and that is with regards to 'water'. As we all know, Jason developed a fear of water after drowning in Crystal
