As polar ice melting is to global warming, so global warming is to pollution in general. Global warming is one matter of a very large issue. It is our constant dumping, wasting, and releasing of toxins that causes every problem this planet and our children will face. We are not just talking about the emissions of twenty billion tailpipes and smokestacks. People like Al Gore single out this issue, because they can "sort of" wash their hands of it, and make themselves appear innocent. Global warming is a portion of a huge problem that "no one" is innocent of, not even Al. But if he addressed the real problem, then he too would be glaringly guilty and it would no longer serve his political agenda. Our children will not only inherit the problem, but they "are" already inheriting a total planetary emergency and no one seems to care about it.
Think I am crazy if you like, but one day what I write here, will be the headline of every news paper in the world, just before the planet takes its last breath. I noticed the other day, the issue of how we have lost most of our countries bee population received about fifteen seconds in the news, and then we moved on to the much more important issue of who was thrown off the island the night before. I want to look at that issue. We can use that confirmed "fact" as proof of this much greater issue. A fact manifesting itself in more then just our bee colonies. Let me combine that fact, with a little story that happens to me regularly. I had a man bring me a piece of equipment not long ago. As always I started it up to see what needed repairing, it belched smoke out and I quickly realized the engine was shot. I called him to report what I had found, and recommended repairing or replacing the engine. He said to me, "no, I just want you to make it start easier." I told him to come and get it. When he did, I said to him, "you know that thing is dumping some serious toxins into this beautiful world which you like so much." Well this is where I make my point. He said to me, "yes, but its just one little engine." I countered his ignorance and said, "Well, it may be your "one," but there are millions in our little country alone, what if just half of the people had your attitude." His face got a little red, and he said, "I suppose your right, I never thought of it that way," and he was "happy" to go buy a new piece of equipment, with his new understanding. Isn't that something? Just one little piece of fact pointed out to a man, and he
