One of my favorite vacation sites would be Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I say this because of the many activities to do there. It is a favorite vacation spot for my family and I. Myrtle Beach offers many great attractions for not only adults but for the kids too.

The first thing to mention about this great place is what else, the beach! It's a fantastic beach. The sand is soft and warm, the waves vary from medium, big, to scary. Whether you enjoy just sunning or riding the waves, it's fun for all. The sun is very, very hot, so remember to wear lots of sunscreen. One of the things me and my son discovered is ' surf shirts ' we both have very fair skin and burn easily. We learned the hard way about how hot the sun is. So, we were prepared on our second trip. wearing surf shirts to swim was fantastic. They can be purchased at most of the beach shops right there along the beach. I highly recommend them. They provide great protection from the sun.

Second, the food and nightlife activities are awesome, You must try the Hard Rock Cafe and the house of blues. Fantastic food and great entertainment. Also, there are many other restaurants to choose from, especially of course seafood buffet types. We've tried many and were not disappointed. The menus at most are very kid friendly. If you have a picky eater, you'll find something on the menu for them they'll enjoy.

As far as cost goes, it's rather inexpensive. When comparing to other places we've vacationed, like Virginia beach and Maryland's Rehobath beach, the cost is kinda cheap. I'm not quite sure why lol.

So, if you enjoy, sun, beach, food and great nightlife and music, I'd highly recommend this great destination. Just remember, the Sun is very hot at the beach, and when you're on the beach, it's hard to leave! You wont know you're skin is roasting until later in the hotel! So, please get some strong sunscreen and get some surf shirts!
