Why God punishes evil when he has given free will

God does not punish evil. Evil is its own punishment.

Why blame God when you commit some sort of evil act that turns on you, in the form of jail or even sickness.

Regardless what man does, in this life, it will affect the law of reciprocity. The law of reciprocity is the origin for the term 'what goes around, comes around'. It's a very real thing and we all live with it daily.

There is no stopping it; there is no tricking it. We can't stop or trick gravity, either.

When you get a wound, you must fight infection because it is most definitely going to fester, if you don't. If your eye gets plucked out, you will only have one to see with. One leg, causes you to be crippled. Evil begets itself.

If I lie, God will punish me. Why does God have to bother with it at all? Your mother-in-law is going to find out what you said about her and she's the one that will deal out the punishment.

You cheat on your wife and fear God's punishment, when all the while you need to fear what your wife will do, when she finds out. What has God to do with that? He doesn't need to deal out punishment. You've already done it for yourself,.

Evil attacks the U.S. but does that mean the U.S. is being punished? If that's so, you can look back over history and find the reasons why.

Certainly, God has His hand on this world. He truly can motivate and manipulate for your cause but that still doesn't mean that if He must bring about something horrid to someone else, for your sake, that it is punishment.

An example of the law of reciprocity, came into my life when I was still a young mother. I was going through an exceptionally difficult time and money was very tight.

I was headed home, from the grocery store, right at noon. My little 4 year-old daughter was already getting groggy and I needed to get home and feed her lunch before she fell asleep. Time was of the essence.

The old car, I had at the time, was so sick, it started once a day and that was it. I was running low on gas and had no choice but to stop at the nearest gas station. I had $5 to my name and really didn't want to spend it all, just in case of some emergency before payday.

I had no idea, that early that morning, the price of gas had topped over the $1 mark, for the first time. Since none of the pumps were set up, yet, to record a price over .99, the pump I used was reporting to me, half the actual price. As I got out of the car, a young attendant mumbled something to me but so much under his breath, I didn't hear him. I was stressed and hurried.
