you've got more than one person per cabin. Or else, you'll be tracking down the housekeeping staff all day, and believe me, with so many decks and so many cabins, they can sometimes be hard to find.
4. Medicine. Most cruise ships have on-board medical staff that is trained to provide at sea service. Even though it would not be difficult to score some Advil or Dramamine on-board, you don't want to cut into your relaxation time with unnecessary trips to the first-aid deck. Instead, pack the medicines you think you may need. Some aspirin is always great, but if you are prone to migraines or seasickness, also pack some over-the-counter products to alleviate these ailments.
5. Personal items. Every one is different and some people will require some things on their journeys which others may not. Guys, pack your razor, or razors, in case your girl forgets hers. And, Ladies! Listen up! If it's that time of the month or around it, don't take the risk, and be sure you bring extra supplies.
Overall, cruises are great vacation experiences. Most are all inclusive and provide lots of fun for families because there are activities for everyone to participate. The combination of family time (mostly at dinner) and "alone" time provides both parents and kids a much needed and deserved break from each other, allowing plenty of time for relaxation, and all in the comfort of a safe (when educated about safety rules) environment. However, if you are considering taking a cruise in the near or not-so-near future, remember to have a checklist on hand so you can do exactly what you were meant to do on board: cruise.
