These days many parents choose to take a family vacation rather then just a vacation among the two of them. Depending on the age include them in as much of the planning as possible. There are activities for children on cruises you just need to find the one that is right for you.

No vacation ever goes as perfectly as we imagine so plan for the unexpected. Pack things that your children really like to keep them occupied at certain times. have everyone in the family talk about what they really want to do on the cruise and make it a point to let everyone have their special time doing so.

Take advantage of the supervised children activities so that you can share some alone time with your spouse. After all it is for the adults to enjoy as well. Just remember to share the family time as fun time and don't be 'the parent.' Enjoy each other and relax.
