Change and how people deal with it

The only constant is change... it's the one thing that we can count on happening, but yet still the one thing that people refuse to accept when it does. Why are people so head-strong against change and so unruly about things staying the same? Change is the most important aspect of the evolution of the human race; its a necessity that must takes place in order to maintain the longevity and congruity of our society. I'm sick and tired of so many people telling me that I've changed. I know that I've changed! The problem is that you didn't.

If you're one of those egotistical jerks that'll follow up my comment with, "well, sometimes change isn't all that good" and you follow it with a little head gesture as to tell me you know more than me you can just fall off the face of the earth. I'm going to tell you a little fun fact about change that might crush all of your theories. The only reason why change occurs is to remove oneself from something disturbing to better handle the arising situation in hopes that the outcome is an improvement. It's a process required to improve our current level of functioning, thinking and our very existence. Change is always good. It's how we're able to grow and adapt.

Darwin was right, this world is naturally cruel. Everything that breeds life, in fact, takes it away. Whether, its an animal that eats its young; a human killing another human; or a fleet of natural occurrences that just desecrate and devastate the world. Change is needed to aid in the recovery. Its the "survival of the fittest"; a "dog eat dog" world. We must change in order to survive. The mere fact of my entire rant is that you don't know what has happened in my life or what is still happening in my life to tell me that I've changed (as if i've changed for the worst)! I know I've changed and there are certain things and people that I no longer want in my life because they are too reluctant to change. I don't want to live that way anymore because its holding me back and stopping me from doing what I want to do.

So, if you're one of those people; no offense but stay out of my way because I'll never let anyone stop me.
