Short stories: A rendezvous at the museum

She hurried from her car. Late again and he wasn't going to be impressed this time with the excuse of traffic. Maybe she could make it up to him. They decided to meet at the museum for their fantasy game. It was just between them. He would go somewhere and wait. She would approach him as a stranger. Sometimes she was the innocent school girl, sometimes a lonely housewife and sometimes she pretended to be a hooker looking to make some cash.

Other times she would wait for him. He was once a cowboy and she ruined the fun by laughing. She couldn't help it! She had always known her husband to be very serious about this game they played, but when he showed up as a cowboy with no clue which end of the horse to stick the hay in she couldn't contain herself.
But tonight was his turn to be waiting. She was going to be the lonely housewife. However since she was late she figured she would spice it up some. As she slowly moved among the pictures and statues she watched for him.
There he was. He was beautiful for a man. Tall, well dressed and strong. He was wearing a dark blue suit with a very sexy hat pulled low to his eyes. Oh yes, this was going to be fun. His black, slightly long hair poured from under the edge of the hat. She hadn't realized how long it was getting. She liked it that way and wondered if he would keep it long for her.
He was staring at a picture of a woman standing in a field with a far away look on her face. Boy, he was really getting into the game of loving art! She strolled slowly behind him and once she was close enough she ran her hand slowly up the inside of his thigh until she touched his crotch and murmured, "Hi baby, looking for a little action? I can make this dream come so true."
He turned to face her and as she looked in to his eyes her smile faded away. Somewhere behind her she heard her husband's voice calling her name, saying how sorry he was to be late. The stranger before her smiled, "Thanks anyway, but I don't think I'm the one you expected am I?"
Quickly saying she was so sorry she turned and ran from the museum leaving her husband confused trailing behind her. She never played the game again without knowing for sure the man she approached was her husband.
