Tabbed Web browsers: What's new

Tabbed web browsers are nothing new, the new Internet Explorer tabbed web browser is a deceptively unwieldy program that may have you disillusioned when it comes to tabbed web browsers. There are a plethora of tabbed web browsers out there. Almost all of them are free such as Mozilla Firefox, Flashpeak's Slimbrowser(the #1 tabbed web browser), Opera, A+, and several more. First off each of the browsers that I have named here are fully customizable. Everything from the number of toolbars that you want at the top to the screen position of your site tabs. You are completely in control. Almost all of these browsers mentioned above (with the exception of Internet Explorer.) can be found at Cnet's www.download.com which is a fantastic place to find all kinds of freeware, shareware, and trialware software programs to download and improve your computing experience.

My personal preference is the Flashpeak Slimbrowser. Which is the number #1 used and downloaded tabbed web browser for the ease of use and user friendly features. The download comes with an add in for Roboform which is an automatic form filler. I have told several people if you spend only $20.00 on the net this year, you would be well served to spend it on this program's professional addition. Roboform is also a password wallet for saving all of your site logins for easy, safe, and fast use whenever you log onto your sites. With Slimbrowser you can hold a multitude of websites open at one time (the advertisement says up to 100 sites at a time!) I never have had 100 websites that I wanted to view at any one time so I cannot vouch for the veracity of this claim. With the Slimbrowser you can also create buttons to your own favorite sites simply by dragging the site address from your address bar to the position that you want on your toolbar.

Tabbed web browsers are versatile and most of them are smaller software programs than Explorer so they run faster and use less RAM space to do so. The browsers named here are all free, not just free to try, but totally free. They work with any internet connection or connection speed. They have easy to understand and simple to use menus and options for customization that you may never even have thought of. Tabbed web browsing has really been a fantastic tool for my web surfing needs for over 5 years now. If you have never tried one before you really should go and download one now. You will certainly be impressed!
