Poetry: Cloudy skies

PHENOMENON

Before my eyes

dark clouds transform

From a gathering of mist

comes the storm.

Drifting along

in cool wind's breeze

floating softly,

changing shape with ease

When rain has ceased

they sparkle white

in skies of blue

and warm sunlight.

When evening comes

they turn to pink

soft cotton candy

at twilight's brink.
